BIFFL hosted its 12th Annual General Meeting (AGM) virtually on 24 June 2023.
In the meeting, the shareholders approved the Audited Financial Statements for the FY22 and approved cash dividend of TK 279.6 million in favor of the Government of Bangladesh as the shareholders of BIFFL.
In 2022, the company earned a total revenue of TK 2.31 billion and made after tax profit of TK 761.4 million.
Ms Fatima Yasmin, Chairman of BIFFL and Senior Secretary to the Finance Division, Ministry of Finance, presided over the AGM.
Other directors and shareholders including Mr. Md. Habibur Rahman, Senior Secretary, Power Division, Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, Ms. Sharifa Khan, Secretary, Economic Relations Division, Ministry of Finance, Mr. Md. Monjur Hossain, Secretary, Bridges Division, Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges, Mr. A B M Amin Ullah Nuri, Secretary, Road Transport and Highways Division, Ministry of Road Transport and Bridges, Dr. Md. Khairuzzaman Mozumder, Secretary, Energy and Mineral Resources Division, Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources, Mr. Hasan Khaled Foisal, Joint Secretary, Finance Division, Ministry of Finance and Mr. S. M. Anisuzzaman, Chief Executive Officer of BIFFL attended the meeting. The company secretary of BIFFL, representative of the Finance Division, Ministry of Finance and the external Auditor also attended the meeting.
