BIFFL hosted its 13th Annual General Meeting (AGM) virtually on 29 July 2024. In the meeting, the shareholders approved the Audited Financial Statements for the year ended 31 December 2023 and approved cash dividend of BDT 369.88 million in favor of the Government of Bangladesh as the shareholders of BIFFL.
In 2023, the company earned a total revenue of BDT 3,069.73 million and made after tax profit of BDT 833.08 million.
Dr. Md. Khairuzzaman Mozumder, Chairman of BIFFL and Secretary, Finance Division, Ministry of Finance, presided over the AGM.
Other directors and shareholders including Mr. Md. Habibur Rahman, Senior Secretary, Power Division; Mr. Md. Monjur Hossain, Senior Secretary, Bridges Division; Mr. A B M Amin Ullah Nuri, Secretary, Road Transport and Highways Division; Mr. Mohammad Salahuddin, Secretary, The Prime Minister’s Office; Mr. Md. Nurul Alam, Secretary, Energy and Mineral Resources Division; Mr. Md. Shahriar Kader Siddiky, Secretary, Economic Relations Division; Mr. Hasan Khaled Foisal, Additional Secretary, Finance Division; and Mr. S. M. Anisuzzaman, CEO of BIFFL attended the meeting. As shareholder’s representative, Mr. Mohammad Manzarul Mannan, Additional Secretary, Finance Division, Ministry of Finance joined in the meeting.
The Company Secretary of BIFFL, Mr. Md. Atikul Islam, FCS, and the representative of Statutory Auditor (Hoda Vasi Chowdhury & Co.) were also present in the meeting.
