On June 30th, 2024, BIFFL's Financial Literacy Wing organized a day-long program at Paramount Textile PLC (PTL) in Gazipur, centered on the theme "Use and Benefits of Digital Transactions." This initiative aimed to enhance financial literacy in rural communities by educating garment workers and employees about the advantages of using digital transactions for various financial services.

Through interactive discussions led by financial literacy experts Md. Arifur Rahman (Head of BIFFL's Financial Literacy Wing) and Mehnaz Hossain (Member of the Financial Literacy Wing, BIFFL), participants gained valuable insights. Md. Gulam Saruar (Deputy Manager, PTL) also contributed, representing the factory and ensuring a well-rounded discussion.

A total of 29 factory workers, including 12 women, actively participated in the program. The engaging format, featuring discussions and a Q&A session, allowed them to gain a comprehensive understanding of digital transactions. The program covered not only the benefits of utilizing digital transactions for various financial services but also potential risks and how to navigate them safely.
